I have a 2950 driving a texas star modulator driving a xforce 400hd. I like the xforce for running a high dead key when I am talking local. But I want to be able to talk ssb as well. Can I drive a 400hd with a ts 250. Then when I want to talk ssb turn xforce off and just use the ts. Any thoughts

yesa that will work.make sure ya know how much
carrier/dk the xforce will handle and dont exceed that point.is the ts250 is it varaible?
if so ya could use the x force on ssb also.
again im sure ya know how much ssb power/or pep
the amp will handle and adjust the ts250 accordinally.imho though i would have bought a bigger xforce.like say the 600hd or even better
yet the 800hd and have the t50 to drive it
but thats just me
