Picked up a NIB Cobra 148GTL with a Digiscan attached. Ive got the original box, microphone, owners manual and power cord. Paid $175 for everything. Here's a pic.

The 148GTL and the Digiscan make a great combo that I am sure you will be happy with.

This looks neat. Could ya'll tell me how this works? What do those two toggles do on the "digi_scan"?

Thanks,
Znut

The "step" toggle jumps your frequency in 5khz steps and the "scan" toggle just lets you move from one channel to the next more quickly. Once you get close using the "scan" toggle, you then get exactly on frequency you want by using the "step" toggle. :-)

Yes, that is a nice setup you got. Radio is a great hobby, now I think I want something new to play with!

Couldn't help but notice that it's a real 148-GTL and not the China made model.
That was a very good price on the 148 with the Digi-Scan. Don't see to many of this combination on the new or used market for less than $250.00. The Digi-Scan model 400 brings a real high dollar price tag by it's self, if you can find a good one in working condition.

Does that Digiscan 400 on the 148 let you go from
25.999-28.000 ???
Other then that I say for the price you payed you only payed for the radio, the Digiscan was FREE.
