Johhn,

The Clarifier Modification listed in the Modification List located to the left of the forum here is:

UNLOCKING THE CLARIFIER:

#1 ~ Locate the wire harness that runs from the clarifier pot to the circuit board. Located in front of where it plugs into the board, you will see R-197.

#2 ~ Clip the top leg of R-197

#3 ~Use a 6" piece of wire and solder it to the stub of wire sticking out of the board.

#4 ~ Connect the other end of the wire to Pin 3 of IC6.

#5 ~ Locate D-59 a 1N4148 diode. Cut the wire part of this diode to disable it.

#6 ~ Locate R-49 a 100k resistor and change it to a 33k resistor.

Johhn,

It would be for the older 2950DX Radios as I have not had the chance to see or use one of the new ones as yet.

DO NOT CUT the black wire ,It must still make
conection from the clarifier control To the
F-1 J28 plug. So add a wire to F-1 on top of
The old wire this will make (2)wires on F-1-
J-28 the other end gose to 8-V.8-volts at J-29
J-29 is a test only conector (black) in color.
This dose work ,I did mine 10-18-07 johhn.
