Just received a 2000 gtl from a friend of mine to take a look at,very low RX but the PA is working and no TX, also the counter shows 92.201.5 , this radio had the Pll chip missing and I found another one in an old radio and put it in,also has an expo kit as well, might be worth fixing so any thoughts as to what I might check.

Is the tx/rx switching chip a usual problem with these radios? Tried another pll but still the same results, works in pa mode but very little rx in the rx section and no output at all,not even detecting anything from the driver or predriver and the counter is still showing 92.201.5 in rx mode and going to zero's in tx mode.I have uninstalled the expo kit and set radio back to stock with still the same results!!! has me stumped!!
