I have a fairly new connex 3300hp that was switched from lo to high power while being keyed up. It will only modulate in high power now. it keys on low but will not modulate. Anyone know what to check for this problem.? Any help is appreciated!

If the radio is still under warranty and I would send it back for repair , I will have a look to see if I can find a schematic for the 3300hp and try to shine some light on the problem , I know that the Cobra 150gtldx's had a similar fault on them .

Thanks for the advice. If you do find some info on which components to check that would be greatly appreciated, however if we come up with no answers, I wil try and send it for warranty

I have switched from high to low back and forth with no problem with my Connex and had no problems.
Your trouble is very odd. You can talk to people in hi power but as soon as you switch to low power your audio just cuts out and nobody can hear you, or are you determining this by looking at the radios meter? Have you checked the radio on an external meter? Also does the talkback work in lo power?

it has been confirmed on an external meter that there is no swing on lo power. There is no modulation produced in the unit while in low, no talkback what so ever. But the radio works great on hi
