Hi there,

I'm working on my brother in laws little Cobra 25 LTD Classic. It has a final out, so I replaced it with a mosfet, but the radio now has another problem I can't seem to fix. The Noise Blanketer is not working. The switch says "NB and OFF" and it does not do anything. Any clue what I can look for inside the radio to fix this problem, or get me off to a good start? Thanks

Here are a couple of suggestions to try.

#1 ~ With 12V power disconnected from the radio get a Volt/Ohm meter and check the switch to make sure it is working (ON) allowing continuity thru the switch and (Off) allowing No continuity thru the switch.

#2 ~ Check the wires to the switch and make sure they have good connections to the switch and one of them did not come loose.

#3 ~ Then make sure that one of the wires did not become dis-connected from the board when you were doing the other modifications.

Hope this help's,
