Grumpy,
I currently have both the Lincoln and the HR2510.Bruce is right, the 2510 has an mrf477 final and the Lincoln has an srf3775 final.front panel controls differ slightly.the 2510 has rf gain control and transmit key.the lincoln has rf power control and loc/dx attenuator, all other controls and buttons are duplicated.using as a base with the same mic, none of the locals can tell a difference on mine.the noise blanker seems more effective on the 2510 than the lincoln is about the only difference I notice on recieve.Hope this helps.

postscriptI also want to add my 2510 is 1988 vintage and the lincoln is very late model

The MRF477 was also used in the Lincoln for quite some time
