I have this problem that I get feedback into the External speaker and also everytime I key the radio it has this funny little booop sound and it don't matter what mic is on the radio it will do it with a stock mic. I use a Silver K Eagle. And if the pwr is turned up the boop gets longer. any Ideas. Thanks cblollypop E-mail adamsge@yahoo.com |

it is suposed to make the boop sound, thats what the whasington does i think its cool,my 142 does it to same board,as for the other thing sounds like you have talk back makeing it squeel you cant turn those d-104 mics up alot without squeeling anyway, external speakers squeel more just use the speaker thats already in your radio |

Are you using a 4 wire microphone on the Washington? If so and the plug on the Washington is a 5 pin (older ones) , thats the problem. The older ones had an isolated RX/TX common from the Audio return and a 4 wire microphone would "pop" on release because pins 2 and 4 were jumpered to get the 4 wire microphone to work.....Let me know whih one you have.. 307 |

No I have a Silver K eagle but it is not the mic. IF I key the radio just by shorting the pins on the radio with no mic at all it still makes the sound. |
