ok i got the display fixed. but still no tx. the finals checked good. i bought this radio not working, and its the first 2510 ive had. on the solder side of the board there is a little blue rectangular box with 8 wires come off it. there are 2 wires from the mic board going to it. it dont look like its factory but it may be. i would love to have some good internal pics of a 2510 on the solder side to see if it is. also i need a pic of the front panel inside wiring. my 2 year old grandson wanted to help today when i wasnt looking he had it picked up off the bench by the front panel and a couple of wires pulled loose from the display board. one is the red power wire that goes from the main board to the display board and the other one is an orange wire that goes across from one side to the other. it is connected on the rit side and looks like it goes to the mode selector knob somewhere. the orange wire could have been loose before , but im not sure.
i will take it back apart tommorow to see exactly where the connected end goes.
thanks
