Boy I sure hate asking another mic. wiring question but I just got my radio out of the shop and don't wan't to blow the audio chip out again. The tech wired the turner +3 to my 135XLR it works fine but the turner side kick he wired a little different switching the red and black wires the Plus 3 is wired 1-sheild, 2-white audio, 3-black, 4-red it works fine but the sidekick he switched the red and black and said the mic. is bad, is that the correct wiring for the sidekick or should it be the same as the +3 I bought it years ago it worked ok then on a different radio then but now it switches ok but no audio even with new battery.I cleaned the relays. The radio seems to work the same with the +3 mic. switched to relay or electronic on back. There are a set of relays in the radio so I think it should probably should be on relay right? I sure would like to use the sidekick if I can. Also need schematic for sidekick. Thanks any help would be appriciated. John

Both mics should be wired the same. Switch should be in the 'relay' position. (This is assuming that the mics have not been modified inside).
