Anyone know where I can ge the little computer chip or whatever it is to convert a KLV 1000 back to 10m only? I am wanting to sell the amp, and do not want to sell a "questionable" amplifier being a ham radio operator. I would like to convert it back to 10m and sell it as a 10m base amp. Thanks guys!!

Linx,
pn# PIC 12C508a (RM1) is the ic you refer to.It does not limit the klv1000 to 10 meter only. Its function is to make the amp a cw transmitter centered around 4 mhz,the upper limit of the 75 meter band.
you may have to contact RM Italy to get hold of one if no body has one lying around from their "conversion".hope this helps.
