Where is a good source of 8 vdc for the clarifier mod on the TRC 449?I know that it is the same as the Cobra 139xlr but I can't find the diode for the 8vdc,anyone know?

Lon I did the google search before I placed my post am seeing 2 different ways to do the mod.One says to cut R117 ,cut D30 and look for a source of 8vdc but I don't see 8VDC on any pins of IC 106.Clarifier wires purple goes to 8 VDC and brown to ground.Tnx for the help I will figure it out sooner or later. Its basically the same as the mod for the 139 XLR.

Ok I found the IC6 and the mod is done, now to get some extra frequencies done in a few days,it may be an old radio but is one of the better radios with great audio just like the TRC 451 and the 453,good audio chip.
