DIN stands for Deutches Institut fur Normung which loosely translates to German Institute for Standardisation. It was an attempt to standardise a whole lot of things which basically didn't take off too well. Electronics, hydraulics, etc. So in saying that...wiring for Realistic, Panasonic, or any radio that runs DIN plugs should wire up the same. I hope.
