with a good modification and using the best equipment,what is the most watts can you get out of a 142,local here states hes getting 70 watts |

How can they get 70 watts? The final in that radio only does about 16 watts. |

Big m is right.
I hear the claims all the time.
If anyone says his standard single final cb radio has an output of more than about 20 watts he is wrong. Even a standard dual final export maxes about 50 watts some less depending on model. Be careful out there and get that guy a new watt meter!
