How many watts do hr 2510 do?I haveone i bought used but I think the wattage may be turned down.it seems to do 10 watts on am and 10 watts on side band on like 1 watt on fm.if it is suppose to do more watts what do I turn inside the radio to bring up the wattage?thanks

hopefully somebody just turned it down for an amp. my 1st 2510 blew the finals, but it showed less then 5 watts on AM & SSB. radio worked, turned it off, back on & low output. replaced 'em & it never happened again. that radio peaked nearly 30 watts, one i have now does over 40, the other does closer to 25, no extreme mods done to either.

Factory output for the HR series radios is 10W
AM/FM, 25w SSB.

Move along. Nothing to see here.........

I SEEN ABOUT 35 TO 40W ON SSB AND ABOUT 30 AM.

Thanks all think ill set it to the factory specs of 25w sideband.am is set at 10 so all I gotta do is set ssb vr104 with my watt meter thanks
