I put the 5-tone that copper sells in my Uniden Washington.With the mic gain up past about 2 o`clock,it gets terrible feedback squeal when I unkey and the beep sounds.I`ve put the 100K resistor in the blue audio wire,but it did`nt do anything for the feedback,just beep volume.I can turn the beep volume all the way down and it still does it.I think I might need the relay the instructions talk about,but it seems kind of vague about why you need to use it.If that is the problem would a small 12v pc relay be enough?
