can i drive firebird tube amp with a stryker 490 with a 2 watt dead key but has 100+on swing thanks

Bush01, NO SIR! 100 watts PEP will certainly damage that amp without a doubt!
2 or 3 watts deadkey and a MAX of 20 watts PEP/swing is all you want to drive it with. Considering the age I would give it lots of TLC.

I have had 3 of these amps and Kenny is CORRECT! I had to learn the hard way of course:-( Anything over 20W max is murder on these old amps. I smoked one with a galaxy 73 that had a DK of 2W but had a swing of 25W. Needless to say it was a pretty light show with some good smoke for effect:-( They are nice amps if they have been taken care of.
