Just ordered a new 2995DX awhile ago, sure hope it lives up to what everybody says. If the copper guys do as good of a job on it as they did with my DX2547 base, I'll be as happy as a pig in a mudpatch

You will LOVE IT!

It is one of the BEST Radio's out there in radio land. And when the condition's get better you will really enjoy it.

I bet you'll like your 2995DX. In my opinion they're close to a high dollar HF rig for sideband and also an excellent AM radio.
I've been running one for several years now without any problems.
I liked the old Galaxy Turbos but did have power supply problems with them. The 2995 was a big upgrade over the Turbo. Good luck with your new radio. Hope to catch you in skipland sometime.
