I have a Robyn T240D Executive. I ordered a D104 hand mike for it awhile back but it wouldn't work. I wired that mike for a Royce and forgot about it. I have done some research on the t240D and there is suppose to be a resistor in-line on one of the wires to the mike.......... am I on line with this? |

That is Correct.
Add a .01 capacitor in series with WHITE lead.

Thank you Lon/Tech 808.
If I talk to a technician at copper electronics and order another mic for the Robin do you think they can wire this mic in this manner? Because last time it didn't come with a .01 capacitor in series with the wite lead.
And in your opinion, what would be the best mic "suitable" for the T240D? |

i have on robyn t240d, trasmit but no modulation if some on can give a idea where to start,tubes have not been checked yet.thanks |

Skip - I have a manual for a Robyn (I'm at work and cannot recall which model) let me look and if it is the correct one will see if I cannot post the schematic.
In the meantime - do we have received audio?
Have you tried a different mic or that mic on a different radio? Do all tubes glow?
