a freind gave me a oscilloscope but i dont know what this one is for or how to use it on the front it says( solid state model 255 CREI oscilloscope )on the back it says model 255 oscilloscope conar instruments washington DC,20016 and at the top some wrote in marker 803546 i downloaded a manual from the internet but it does not tell me what it is used for i have a uniden pc400 and a grant mobile unit can some tell me a little about how to use it o i did not get any of the probes with it neather can it be used for a newer cb and how does it hook up it only has has one coax hook up

You can see wave forms on that scope ...

With some work and a adaptor you can see what you transmiter waveform output looks like there are ckts in old ARRL books that you could build.



NOW THAT SAID ....

DO NOT HOOK THE OUTPUT OF ANY RADIO DIRECTLY TO THE SCOPE ...... It will go up in SMOKE .......

I have several here but rairly use them .....
