I go this Galaxy 44v used and it had an NPC done to the radio , C189 with a diode and 100 ohm resistor on the other side of the cap. The radios dk's 2 watts and swings to 25 watts pep on a PDC600. In comparison to my 2950 that has an NPC done and running a 575 that thing is alot louder then the Galaxy. The galaxys are known for there loud audio but this radio has a stock sound from on the air radio checks. I have checked the alignment and eveything looks good ie. VCO,TX and RX voltages . Ehat else could be done to make this radio scream as what there supposed to do?
ps I get loud comments on my 2950 and 2510. |
