my connex 4800 dxl frequency counter never stops moving on ssb and am.The last 2 digits seem to move alot and never stay still even after I put it on frequency and had it onver for 2 hours.Lets say im on channel 35 27.3550 then why I key the mic it goes to 27.3549 sometimes it will even go to 27.3551.whats wrong with these things?my buddy has the same radio and his does it to.is there anyway to fix this or is it like this cause its made cheap?maybe thats why they stoped making them whos knows.anyone?thanks

like this cause its made cheap....answered your own question, freebird. it's the same radio as the galaxy 95t, general grant, cobra 148fgtl-dx, rci6900-ftb, superstar 158, and probably a few more if i think long enough. they ALL do that to some extent. ALL OF THEM. don't let anybody con you & say their 95t doesn't drift. some are just worse then others. there is no easy fix for it. an xtal change to a more stable cut CAN help, and there's a few other supposed tricks that can be done to them, but probably not worth the effort for a CB. even one that costs $400 or more.
