Sitm - I have no idea what wires are in the Sears mic, what are they? As for the Cobra radio, it's mic plug wirse like this:

1 Common Ground
2 Mic Audio
3 PTT (connect to pin 1 or 4 for TX)
4 Common Ground

Just test the wires on the mic and find the TX and RX, the sheild will be easy to tell. The that leaves the audio for the mic. I hope this helps you some, good luck!
