Hi everyone. I bought a JCD-201M desk microphone from Copper and had it pre-wired for 4 pin cobra and also purchased a 4 pin to 5 in adapter so I could use it on my Cobra 2000gtl and 148gtl. The problem im having is when I hook the mic to my Magnum Omega Force through the 4 pin mic connector the mic feeds back through the internal speaker. The same thing happens when I hook it to my 2000 and 148. If I un-hook the receive wire from the mic connector the problem goes away except then I have no receive. I tried moving a few wires around but nothing worked. I really have no idea how to fix this problem and hope someonce can help me. On a side note, the mic works great on my TRC-457 through a 4 pin to DIN adapter. Thanks in advance for any and all help.
