got a galaxy 99 v that makes a humming sound all the time on my receive.but when I put my noise blanker on nb+ it goes away when it shuts the freq counter off.this is the only way the sound will go away.what you think is the problem?

That frequency counter hum is pretty common in some of the Galaxy radios. I've had several that had it including an 88 that I own now. Don't notice it much in a mobile but as a base you sure can hear it.
There's a fix for it, pretty sure it's been discussed way back there on this forum. Might find it with a search.
