Am I the only one thinking that how come CB radios today still retain the old fashioned square box,non contoured shape with ugly analogue S meters and none that I am aware of have provision to remote the front panel control unit and put the guts of the radio under the seat or in the trunk.
Amateur radios have come of age why not CB radios?

Kiwikid ~ John,

You have a VERY GOOD point there.

With the newer Car's, Van's & Truck's getting smaller and smaller there is far less room (if any) to place or mount a radio in them.

And the size of radio's just are not keeping pace with the newer smaller cars & van's & Truck's with built in arm rest's and SMALL storage compartment's in the arm rest's or center console.
