I Need a power supply to run my Texas Star DX 350 HDV I have a 25 amp switching power-supply that I run my Ranger 2950 dx with, when I conect the amp The power-supply shuts down. I want to get an inexpensive ---doesn's need to have a meter power-supply Can you help.

Kb2rgz,

The texas star 350HD pulls 30 amps by it's self so I would suggest at least a 50 amp power supply to run the Radio and Amp.

Thanks for the reply 808 I was looking at the triplite. are the switching powersupplys any good for amps I know they are much lighter than the 30 lb triplite 50 amp.I dont seee the weight on the pyramid 46 amp I would think it would also be at 30 lbs?
