After VR9000 warms up(1hr or so) the receive goes dead except for “white noise” and transmit is dead I think. At least it doesn’t transmit on a specific freq. Freq counter starts scanning and doesn’t lock onto a frequency. If I turn off for awhile it is ok again for 1hr or so. What most likely is the problem?
This happens if it is in the mobile with a ¼ wave ss whip or in the house on a CLR or beam. Mic is a D104 mobile. No mods have been done to the radio. No external amp.
Thanks
Don
