I want to put a CB in my old pickup. I don't want to listen to my ignition points and alternator all day though.
I see that Copper has a great price on the refurbished Galaxy 949. How is it's noise blanker in it? Any other recomendations?
I'd like to stay under $100 if possible. |

My Galaxy 99 was the best bar none. It died. I tried a PC78XL and it was horrible! Cobra 19 was worse.
A Grant XL was fair. I'm currantly using my beat up 959. It's almost as good as the 99 was. |

Good Friday morning Chris. If you don't need SSB, you might try the old Uniden PC66 AM radio. I have two of them, used several over the years,and even used one in a ford ranger, 08 model. Fords are bad for ignition noise, but this made it through ok.

are both power leads going 2 battery?
wheres your antenna located at.
did you try a magnum filter cord?these help
need more info
