1200 watts times 2 equals 2400, divided by 12 volts gives you 200 amps.I am no expert, but that should ballpark.

Use a multi meter to measure the voltage on the power wires. If the voltage drops below 12 volts during tx the power supply is too small. I can't imaging that amp needing over 100-110 amps.

Are you measuring average or pep? You should be able to get 900 pep out of it. How many watts are you putting into it?
