use your sixth digit instead of a 0
make it a 1 or 2 depending on what way
your off freq. example
28.3650 =283652
28.3650=28.3648
i had a 2970 with clarifer unlocked it drifted
i wouldnt recommend it

Dale, I have had the 2950 and 2950dx, 2985dx, 2970n2 and the 2995dx and with this mod they had never drifted. Not doubting your statement but, as for mine it stayed on freq. perhaps it is the radio you had or something else. I had found two different mod's on this and on some site's you can get some bogus info. When I am in a hurry for info I surf cbtricks.com and defpom. But, YOU CAN NOT BEAT THE TECH'S ADVICE HERE NOR THE THE MEMBER'S ADVICE. NICE TO SEE YA STILL AROUND DALE. I SHOULD BE IN YOUR AREA IN SIX WEEK'S IF PLAN'S REMAIN THE SAME. IF SO I WILL GIVE YA A CQ ON THE FREQ. |

mine had too much slide not sure didnt like it

Dale, I had forgotten about teham. The mod on the dx radio's for the slide came from cbtricks. My first mod I had ever done on the dx radio's came from the INSPECTOR and the mod he had given is the swing mod for these radio's AND IT CAME FROM THIS SITE. THANK GOODNESS FOR THESE TECH'S AND THOSE THAT SHARE WHAT THEY HAVE LEARNED. THIS IS WHAT RADIO IS ABOUT---BEING FRIEND'S AND HELPING ONE AND ANOTHER. |
