For an early model Radio Shack DX-160. Picked up up a year or two back that lights up but nobodyb home. Guess it's about time I fixed this as well as restore the National NC-57A I have sitting in the cupboard. Anyone have a VR-150 spare?

I received a package today with a UHF mobile. I'm told it's a kit radio from Australia. The front says: DSE Explorer. It has a problem according to the sender, it receives the useable portion of 440 but only transmits on one.
Bad chrystal ? Maybe an adjustable cap across the crystal ?
