I want to put the RFX75 RF Driver on my Cobra 148 GTL. First of all can that be done and second can I put a variable power pot on it case I want to run this into a AMP.

I have a Cobra 148 GTL made in Taiwan (5-Pin Mic)

The RFX75 RF Driver I will but will be the one off the website.

If you need anymore information let me know. Thanks

Ya I know but I will need to turn that down because the full PEP is to much for the amp. Im thinking of taking out VR10 and hooking up a Variable power pot. on the front of the radio. Possibly a duel knob and put it where the dynamic is on the front so I don't lose the dynamic.
