Maybe someone can help. I have an older President washington, 4 pin mic connection which came with a Turner plus 3. I have now aquired a President hand stock mic. I think it may have been from a newer Uniden President but not sure. the mic has 4 wires. Shield, red, black and white. Ive tried so many different variations switching around the Audio/white, Transmit/red, and the receive/black with no luck. I get it to key the transceiever, but no matter how I change things around, I get no audio..just a hum when keyed up. I have given up, and this is my last resort. Anyone have some suggestions on what I may be doing wrong here?
Thanks

Maybe the element in the mic itself is bad. I have two bad mics on my bench now, they both key the radio fine but no audio. I put another element in one and it works fine.

OK, thanks for the info. Ill check the mic element, its the only thing left that must be causing the problem.
Thanks again...Frank
