i have a astaic m6b hand power mic its wired to 4 pin uniden cobra it works fine on tester but on the pc 122 i only have carrier can any one tell me the colors and to what pin is correct thank you |

1--sh& blue
2--white
3-red
4--blk
yellow not used. |

thanks thats the way it is, but wounder why it works on tester but not on radio it has carrier but no mod, |

dumb question but did ya check the battery?
also try turning the mic up
also does that radio have a mic gain check its position. im sure ya did all this already but
thought id ask. so if ya did this then id say try
another mic if it works then we can rule out something in the radio.cause if your m6b worked
on the tester it should work on the radio.

does you tester show audio out. some just show TX and receive. the element might not be putting audio out.have you tried another mic to verify the radio is working right. |

yes good batt, tester has green light and speaker radio has no mic gain i tried turning it up and down it worked fine on rci 2950 when i rewired it i get this its got to be some thing stupid im going to look for another radio and try it thanks guys |

it was some thing stupid i hooked it up to a older grant worked great so i pressed the pins tighter went hooked it up to the pc122 it works!thanks for the help, |
