Trying to wire a Tug-8 stand 6 wire to my Silly SSB-23. I can get key up but no nod! I really want this radio to work great because it is the first SSB radio I bought in the late 1970 something and paid 349 for it then
I talked everywhere with it . Channel 16 was the SSB channel back then and I made my first international contact with to a ham in the UK

This is now the astatic book has it.
1.White
2.Red
4.Shield & Blue. Nothing on 3.

I bought one of those when they first came out. Also bought a Siltronix 90 VFO for it. Talked all over the world on sideband with that rig.
