i have a trc 440 that a friend was using and lightning hit close and he lost the receive any one tell me where to check first ,thanks |

When you say "lost receive" define exactly what you mean. Does the meter move, but no audio? Do we get no audio and no meter movement? Does it still transmit? Does it light up??
In other words to even start trying to diagnose we need more information.
