I have a magnum s3 with very weak rx on am fm brings in a lot of static but almost dead quiet on am tx works and swings out bout 45 pep looking for some help on this one thanks y'all

welcome to fourm . ive owned 2 magnums myself
they have a quiet reciever. [mine did]if its
picking up distance stations well then dont
worry about it. FM is another story its designed
to use with your squelch.turn up your squelch
till noise disappears.[DONT MAX OUT THE KNOB]
