i use to talk on the cb but i am Rady to get back in it i have a 40 foot tower set up for beam i have bearing rotor mount at base i sold my smoking gun to and tv rotor i am looking to spend up to 1500 for beam and rotor or wold i be better puting ground plane up 80 ft i talk long ground wave and skip i just want a nice set up thank whiskey whiskey

If you have a decent tower, put a horizontal yagi up, with a vertical mounted directly above it.
