hi. I am new to your site and have spent last 3 nites reading and learning. I had base set up in late 70s but not again till 2 mo ago. I happened to find a browning mark III and the bengal ssb in old fellows basement. no moisture nice basement radios are nice. ill start with question on bengal,the old fellow past on week before i installed this stuff, he had a toggle on back of unit thought it was power hi,lo sw but nothing changes. sw is 3 pole. one wire goes to pos pin on dc power plug recp, center wire goes to side lug on dc up at what is a cutout switch when dc is pluged in,a jumper then goes to back of case to a 2sd180.also from same pin one jumps over to power board. third wire goes to lug on end of cut out switch. what does this switch do if not out put watt power change? ive cleand contacts looks good cecked switch and it works as intended.
