Was wondering what the output power should be on this amp. It has three tubes all are 17kv6a's. First one i hs seen with 3 tubes. Only putting a 4 watt dead key with 12 watts swing and only getting about 75 watts out. Thats with three brand new tubes. Thanks

What I found around on Google in a quick search says you're at the right place with 75w to stay cool, one post said 160w and yet another "claimed" 350, hum sounds odd. If you're just talking and not caring about out talking the world, I'd let it run cool at 75w. Besides, if the DX is there, it makes little difference the wattage you use. A beam (hands down) will do better than an amp.
