I am having nothing but trouble trying to wire this mic to the 6 pin connector. If anyone has successfully figured out how to wire the mic into the 980 let me know please. Thanks

Howdy Doc and welcome to Copper Forum!

Look under Mic Wiring in Ask The Tech. I posted the pin out for the 980. Note that one or two of the pins depending on the mic will be N/C.

Turner plus 2 electronic/relay switch underneath the base of the microphone. Does anyone know the position of the switch (forward or back) for electronic switching. I can't find it on any of the turner manuals. I purchased the mic on E-bay and I am not sure what position it is in. So, if held upside down should the switch be toward the battery or moving away from the battery for electonic switching. Thanks
