I have an eagle 5000 in great shape I'm having a little trouble with the channel selector.sometimes when you change channels sometimes it goes up and sometimes it goes down I know it's like the galaxy saturn will a channel selector from a saturn work or will I have to use an eagle 5000 channel selector.i have both an eagle 5000 and an eagle 2000 I also have an eagle 1kw.all are gold and black and work well

it seems as alot of those types of radios have that problem..what i did on mine is get a mike thats 6 wire and put up and down buttons on the mike, that way you dont have the channel situation.. this i have done even on new radios that mite have that problem later on???

Thank you for your information the 5000 has a up and down button on it.it gets frustrating when you try to change channels and it goes opposite of where you want to go I'm not used to changing channels with the button.i just want it to look goof and act the way it's supposed to.thank you so much for the info. (I need all the help I can get)

Any one know the fix for a radio the bleeds on every channel get lower in strength as it goes off center freq and rx the same you can hear 3 channels a way clearly?

The fix for this issue was a SMD resistor a crossed 2 pins of IC5 the phase comparator. After removing it the radio does not spur at all.
