I have a TUP9D-104SP Hooked up to a Uniden Washington with a 5 pin plug. I would like to hook up a remote PTT switch if possible but cannot find any info on how to do it. Can anyone help me out?

Tech 181,
The mic does need to be plugged in for receive.
I tried using the shield and TX wire. The radio would key up but no audio.

Thanks

You will need a PTT switch somewhere in your remote setup to disable RX when you key the radio.

Tech 181,

Thanks for the info.
Secound the reason I would like to do this is I keep the mic at arms length. The remote switch would let me key the mic without reaching for it. I know this sounds pretty lazy but that's the kinda guy I am.

Thanks again
