I think they are the same as the Galaxy DX-959 mobiles. I need to get one of these to play with. Let me know if this looks right.

Locate wires P5 and P6 on the back of the channel selector switch. Put a SPST switch in each wire and mount them somewhere convenient.

It's a good thing that radio has a freq display because there is NO rhyme or reason to the channels. There is a lot of duplication in different settings.

Why they didn't use the same system as the other Galaxy's I'll never know.

P% and P6 CLOSED gets you the regular 40.
P6 OPEN gets you 27.605 to 27.965
P5 OPEN gets you 26.695 and then jumps all over the place
P5 and P6 OPEN gets you a bunch of mixed up freqs as well.

Bottom line? You get from 27.695 to 27.965.
