HI all, i have very successfully done the mod to many radios and my amp loves it. I have a 2510 radio and it fails to give adiquate forward swing. It has only one add on and that is a relay for the talkback. done very nice and has good quality talkback on am and ssb. only improvement would be the 50 ome resister and the diode. where would it be installed. thanks

the conventional npc/ppe does not work in this radio.

there is a mod that i have done that yields max swing from a 2w or more carrier. i have another mod to get max swing from a lesser carrier but some radios may go into oscillations. i don't do it much unless a customer really wants "swing". the reason is because the + and - peaks flatten big time. if i get time and remember to do this, i'll get out the schem and give the part legends for this/these mods.

i also plan to work on atleast getting the pos peaks rounded out when i have the time. that is one thing i don't have nearly enough of right now.

HI ALL, thanks for the reply. I guess this will not be workable, the other way will be to use a varable modulator. See i have become use to a 3 quater watt dead key swing to 12 into a sweet 1600 lots of audio. thanks again..
