Carl: Please find me the right info:

bought eagle sidewinder would like 11 meter conv info and detune to one watt

all the mods i have read say remove jumper from pins 1 -2....move to 3 -4.

This does not have the pins or the connector. There is NO ROW OF FOUR to choose from or solder.

Here's what I have....

1. I have a four pin connector with four wires coming out of the motherboard (con5) e,d,f,grn and an empty j the connector doesnt plug into.

2. next to that I have ( con1). conv 1 has the numbers 1,2,3 tthese are empty without pins(three has a bit of solder connecting a super fine piece of wire going to the other side of the circuit board but doesn't look like it really attaches to anthing but the edge of the board.

3. There is a six pin connector g,h,c,i,b,a this in (con3)

4. (con 1) is three empty spaces 3,2,1

Also I could use some info on detuning this to one watt..... not sure what to turn... didn't get a schematic with this board....

Yes, I have had a lot going on this week , ANYWAYS...On the Sidewinder , Looking down into the radio , there is a small circuit board on the right side faceing you. Towards the REAR RIGHT SIDE of the small board are three holes that once had a small connector header. I believe you short the two pins closest to the rear of the small board. This should do it.

307 thanks

I see the pin holes you are talking about.

I dont have any "Pins" but there are holes there for pins. .. .. .. So I will just bridge the gap one way or the other to short across there.

Will wait till I go to work late today to pick up some pins and a jumper.

Thanks
Oliver

307 I have the sidewinder and the info everyone needs on this radio is that the small pc board on the side rail has been turned up-side-down in a lot of them.
with a screw on one end and soldered on the other
all you have to do is remove the screw and lift the board to move the jumper.

that would be great....if.....if there were a jumper....hehehehe

the first thing I did was to take the board off, and thats where all those numbers came from in my specific post to 307.

307 has offered to mod it for me......
thanks for response
