Can a icom-746 be made to talk on the 11 meter band? If so what is the mod? THANKS!!!!!!!!

IF you would like to experiment with 11m RF characteristics, using a 746 for a signal generator and appropriate dummy load, then you would need to follow the instuctions here: http://ham.shineline.it/I3FUE/mods-i-k/ic746.txt

707...I like it...Who would indeed transmit on that radio? No one here I am sure. However again for the experiment on typical PLL loop testing with the Icom-746 visit qrz.com

While you are in there consider the installing W2ENY 6khz filter (http://www.geocities.com/w2eny/icom/filter.htm)
in place of the 9khz AM filter. It is only $35.00 and greatly improves AM reception.
