307 : I have no problem spending bucks on equipment if I'm reasonably sure it will help my station.On the above item I don't know so I will ask your opinion first.Provides 20 db audio frequency boost or cut to four overlapping octave ranges centered at 300,600,1200 & 2400Hz.Improves the ability to hear and understand SSB,AM,CW,& QSO'S.Model 616 Made by MFJ Co.

vernonott i had one not the MFJ although i own a number of there products. It depends what you are tring to do the one i had you could peak the audio so that high and low end sound droped out and on CW it was very effective and worked well on SSB and AM too but i only paid about 50 bucks i dont know what they are getting today. DSP is also efective but i passed on it only because i did not feel the price was worth it see if they will allow you try it for some time with a return allowed. If they will you have nothing to lose.

i look up the mfj it is allot like the one i had but much more fancy!
