Do you know where I may get this radio repaired
I would like to get this radio back on ham band only,it works to some what, receives good on all bands but I would like for it to transmit as well ,it will transmit but not good audio,I can not get the cw to transmit at all.

Best message board I've been on,and I've been on alot most went down.Not brown noisen, just like to let people know that they are doing a good job.

AAH the old tempo a nice nuts& bolts radio you might look in the qrz or electric radio web sites i had the VHF tempo for many years till i forgot to pull the ant and a lighting bolt smoked it

OK. Find someone with a tube tester. Sounds like the finals and driver need to be replaced. If you don't have a book need to get one. I can help if no one else can. I have owned several and love them. Tubes are a little spendy now but will be worth it. Don't know about cw as didn't like how they operate in cw. They are great on ssb and you should see 60 watts on am and 150 on ssb. If you don't have a book email me and can walk you through initial setup. Need to get milliamps set right or will take finals out. Am glad to help anyone I can with thes as like I say love running them. Tony, N5JVA
